Embark on a five-day ‘immersion’ mindfulness retreat where you will learn how to practice meditation and also how to integrate mindfulness into your everyday life...but also so much more.

It is living a life that is not determined by the fears, conditioning and beliefs that can hold you back, but instead living consciously. Living a life that fulfils you. One with your inner compass set to ‘true north’ and one where you can feel at home and at ease within your own skin.
Melli O’Brien has dedicated the last two decades of her life to studying what it takes to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. She has developed a methodology based five core principles drawn from the world's wisdom traditions that are now proven by modern neuroscience. These principles are shared over the five days of the Art of Mindful Living Retreat and they have changed hundreds of lives.
The five-day process will give you all the tools and practice you need to feel confident in integrating meditation and mindfulness into your life. These retreats are held in Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay. The beautiful retreat venues provide a clean, safe and nurturing space for meditation, yoga and spiritual communities. The retreat centres are dedicated to health and well being in tranquil settings.
These retreats are a peaceful getaway in a beautiful natural setting. A place where you can unwind, grow and discover.
Accommodations are nice, comfortable, clean and usually shared. If you prefer a single/twin room those options are also available and can be found on our booking page (full details below). Delicious, healthy vegetarian food will be provided.
Melli O’ Brien
Melli O’Brien is an internationally accredited meditation and yoga teacher who specializes in ‘immersion’ mindfulness retreats. Known for her down-to-earth, engaging and authentic teaching, she has guided thousands of people through her popular retreats and courses. Ms. O’Brien was selected by the Mangrove Mountain Retreat Centre (the largest retreat centre in the southern hemisphere) to teach their mindfulness retreats.
Her passion is demystifying and simplifying the world’s wisdom teachings and making them accessible and practical for everyday people.
Melli is also the co-founder and host of The Mindfulness Summit the world largest mindfulness conference, which was attended by 250,000 people when it launched online in 2015. The summit is a not-for-profit project with a mission to make mindfulness mainstream and so far has raised over 1 million dollars for mindfulness based charities around the world.
