Take time out to reset, relax and revitalise after the silly season…and enter the new year with clarity, freshness and vitality!

This  non-residential New Year’s retreat is a weekend of mindfulness, yoga, meditation as well as a time for reflection and integration. You’ll be guided to reflect on the journey of your past year – lessons learnt and challenges experienced –  and integrate what you’ve learnt so you can live a more authentic, passionate and peaceful life in 2017.

You’ll also be guided through powerful processes to identify your values and your vision of who you want to be and how you want to live in the new year. You’ll emerge feeling refreshed, reset and ready for 2017!

Come and join us for two nourishing days of mindfulness on this weekend retreat in the beautiful yurt at Temple Byron.

You’ll have the chance to slow down, tune in and unwind with gentle mindful movement practice, meditation and a deep relaxation meditation called Yoga Nidra.

Melli O’Brien (An accredited and experienced yoga, meditation and mindfulness teacher) will facilitate the two-day retreat.

The 2-days of mindfulness, a semi-silent community retreat, gives us a space to practice mindfulness together as a community of like-minded local folks.

Please bring a packed lunch and water for each day. Tea will be provided. You may also want to bring a april__862vegetarian platter to share for morning or afternoon tea if you’d like to.

Please come in comfortable clothes suitable for yoga and you may bring your own meditation stools if you wish. Although we do have chairs and cushions available.

Please note, this is a non residential retreat so if you’re coming from out of town you’ll need to arrange your own accommodation and also your transport to Temple Byron each day.

melli -  bio picMelli O’Brien is an internationally-accredited meditation and yoga teacher and an MTIA-trained mindfulness teacher who specializes in ‘immersion’ mindfulness retreats. Known for her down-to-earth, engaging and authentic teaching, she has guided thousands of people through her popular retreats and courses. Melli was selected by the Mangrove Mountain Ashram (the largest ashram in the southern hemisphere) to teach mindfulness retreats. Her passion is demystifying and simplifying the world’s wisdom teachings and making them accessible and practical for everyday people.

heatherHeather Albrecht works in the corporate world as a professional trainer, the academic world as a lecturer at UNSW and in private practice as a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, as well as teaching the world-renowned MBSR in the community and organisations. She is a long-term practitioner of mindfulness and yoga and also is a qualified yoga teacher.
